He received his undergraduate training at Texas A&M University where he graduated with honors. He proceeded to graduate medical school in Dallas at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. After completing a urologic residency at the University of Georgia, he completed specialized microsurgical training for men at the esteemed Cornell-Weill Medical College in New York City. He then obtained an MBA through Brandeis University and Tufts Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Wierschem is a well respected member of his community and he previously served as the Chief of Urology at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Plano for 15 years. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and stays current with all the Men's Health issues by being an active member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, the International Society for Sexual Medicine and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.

My career in surgery began in 1998 as an operating room technician and evolved into a focused commitment to hair restoration. In 2003, I was sponsored for membership in the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, marking a milestone in what is now twenty-eight years of clinical service.
I have had the privilege of working on more than 7,000 hair maintenance and restoration cases for film and television personalities, professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, FIFA, and even Olympians – political figures, social media personalities, and a broad community of men and women seeking meaningful solutions for hair loss, thinning and baldness.
My practice continues to be driven by a commitment to patient centered excellence, innovation, and integrity. I remain dedicated to advancing modern strategies in both surgical and regenerative hair restoration at Dallas Men’s Health. As the acting Hair Division Manager, I seek to ensure each patient receives compassionate, experienced care.
